my name is Tamara Patterson, and I am also a minister at open bible through global university, and I am also a street minister on the week ends in down town Spokane, Washington. I am by day the administrator for new beginnings community resource center for one of the poorest neighborhoods in Spokane. New Beginnings is a food bank and a soup kitchen for the homeless and the low income. I found you by a friend told me to google my name and see what info there was about myself out there in cyber space. And thats when i ran into your name. Its good to know that we both are serving the LORD by doing as James stated by being a doer of the word. Blessings to you for your book, and may GOD continue to bless you and your family.

Mrs. McLaughlin-Patterson we need you here in Jacksonville, Florida. The poems you read were sooooo intense! When you talked about "My God Wake Her Up" I wanted to slid underneath the pews. Lol! I am the one with the short reddish hair that purchased 3 books...2 of them for my girlfriends back at school. I've had the book for some time and of course I read it, when you first released it. Because you know what I have been through and you know that I truly believe that one of those poems were written just for me. When I am going through and I may think about turning back. I want to truly thank you for blessing me today at New St. Paul Baptist Church in Eden, N.C. I enjoyed the word that God placed on your heart to deliver to our congregation! I love the book "Issues of the Heart" this is such wide spread epidemic that affects women nationwide; many don't discuss these issues that are so heavily weighing woman in the church. You have blessed me in so many ways and I would love to talk to you in more detail about how to get my works published and getting into the motivational speaking ministry. Your spirit moved me so deeply and to think I was just visiting that church for the first time. God always knows what He is doing. I really enjoyed you this past Sunday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. After working 12 hrs., I still had enough energy to read the entire book Sunday evening! It was a blessing to me just from the poems you readied at church. My sister got her copy Tuesday and she thanked me for encouraging her and she plans to encourage others. Thank you again for such inspiration and building my faith in God because I know HE will take care of me in these trials that I am going through.

Mrs. Patterson, I purchased your book when you came be Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church two weeks ago. I must say, that book hit home with me. I finished it within two hours. I couldn't put it down once I started because it was just that good. Thank you for such a wonderful and powerful book.
