Booking Agreement

It is a privilege and an honor to serve God and to walk in those things for which I have

been called. Thank you for your interest in my presence at your upcoming event. Due to a
growing number of requests and the time required away from my daughter, husband, and
family, before responding with an immediate “yes” it is imperative that I first seek God about
each invitation. I will promptly provide a final answer within 5 days (or less) of receiving a
completed questionnaire (below) from you or the appropriate ministry head. It is very
important that I fully understand the flow of your event and your expectations of me as your
speaker, so that I may serve you with excellence.

As an established author, motivational speaker, and licensed minister, there are also
guiding principles that I ask you to observe in advance of selecting me as your speaker:

1. Due to the demands of ministry, commitment to family and a desire to obtain proper
rest, my primary objective is to be present at least 30 minutes prior to my speaking time
and at least 30 minutes following. (For Sunday Morning Worship, I will always plan
to be present throughout the entirety of the service).

2. I will bring books and related products (available for purchase) for those who may be
interested at the end of my presentation. Please provide a 6 ft or 8 ft table and chair. I
will provide table décor and other items.

3. For Greensboro, NC and surrounding areas within a 60 mile radius, I will accept a mini-
mum fee of $500 per engagement (for each day) with no additional travel expense requirements.
For events taking place outside of a 60 mile radius of Greensboro, NC, I will accept a
minimum fee of $500 (per engagement, for each day) in addition to travel cost (and lodging, when necessary). If the above fees are beyond your budget, please contact me in advance of a final

4. I will gladly teach, speak, preach, exhort, etc on a no-fee basis for certain causes and for
small groups, Nonprofits, or other organizations in which payment may be difficult or
may cause financial hardship. Because writing and motivational speaking are my liveli-
hood and most of my earnings take place on the weekend, I prefer to provide no-fee
services Monday thru Friday…..morning, noon, or evening. However there can be
exceptions in some cases.  (As resources allow, I attempt to provide free books and other materials for participants in shelters, group homes, low-income areas, etc)

5. I usually travel with an assistant (as it relates to overseeing book sales) as well as an
armor bearer. When overnight lodging is essential, a hotel "suite" with double beds or two separate rooms will be necessary to accommodate us all.
